Hakama Trousers No. 002 — Black Linen
Custom made hakama-style trousers in 100% Masters of Flax certified linen.
A three-metre sash wraps high around the waist, with a side zipper and hook closure for a precise fit.
The cut follows the traditional hakama — six panels, a Japanese-style gusset for a wide stance, and generous pleats front and back (six front, two rear) for freedom of movement in every direction.
Pricing depends on fabric and details. Get in touch via info@1000lbs.studio

Kimono No. 001 — Blue Linen
Custom made kimono in 100% Masters of Flax certified linen. Three hand-stitched crests on the back: ume, the plum blossom, is a traditional symbol of vitality and perseverance.
The kimono features medium-length sleeves, a tasuki cord (GOTS cotton) to tie back the sleeves when needed, and a long obi that wraps twice around the waist. The linen is very light and moves nicely with the body.

FAQ
WHAT DOES A SUIT COST?
An organic cotton suit is €350. A Masters of Flax Fibre™ linen suit is €450. Both include VAT and and everything on the suit. Every last frog. Pockets too, if you want them — two jacket pockets, an inside pocket, or a back trouser pocket. All included. Just mention it when you order.
One note on outside jacket pockets: they can catch during partner work or interfere with dantian massage. Something to consider.
An additional white collar — to wash separately or swap mid-practice — is €20.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY SUIT?
Delivery times vary. Usually 3-4 weeks. Feel free to ask about the current wait.
HOW DO I ORDER AND GIVE MY MEASUREMENTS?
Via the order form. You choose your fabric, colour, and measurements there. Instructions for measuring are on the form.

COTTON OR LINEN? HOW DO I CHOSE?
Both are light and breathable. Cotton is soft and comfortable year-round. Linen is cooler and gets more beautiful with wear — ideal for warm weather or hot practice spaces. Both are certified organic.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY SUIT?
Machine wash at 30°C with a splash of natural vinegar — it keeps the colours bright and the fibres supple. Dry flat or hang indoors, away from direct sun. Skip the dryer. Iron cotton on two dots, linen on three.
WHAT IF THE FIT ISN'T RIGHT?
A custom suit is made to your measurements, so it should fit well from the start. If something needs adjusting, get in touch — within reason, we can always talk it through. Because each suit is made to order, refunds are not possible.
CAN I PERSONALISE MY SUIT?
The white collar and cuffs are standard — but if you prefer a monochrome suit, just say so. Don't be shy about other wishes either. Initials, a small embroidery, something personal — mention it in the remarks box. Simple requests are usually no problem; more elaborate extras may come with a small additional cost.
